RPSV4 update available

An RPSV4 database update (db_789) is available to modify reference tables based on recent updates to the Assessor Data Collection Manuals (commercial and residential/farm/vacant). For details, see the release notes.

To access the executable file and release notes, log into the Online Assessment Community and select RPSV4 Updates from the menu. Db_789 is the only one currently listed under Maintenance releases for RPS2020.

Tip: If this is the first time you’re accessing the new Online Assessment Community since its launch in late July, see our July 26 announcement for details.

Webinar details for final solar and wind appraisal model

In case you missed it, last Thursday we announced that the final 2022 discount rates and model for appraising solar and wind energy systems with a nameplate capacity equal to or greater than one megawatt are now online.

Assessors are required to use the model and discount rates to value and place 2022 assessments on affected solar and wind energy systems.

See Appraisal methodology for solar and wind energy projects to get started.

On Tuesday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m., we’ll hold a webinar to walk through the final model and answer your questions.
