Report fraud, scams, and identity theft

Warning from the New York State Office of Information Technology Services

The New York State Office of Information Technology Services has issued a warning to the public to be aware of phishing schemes related to NY.gov, the citizen-facing portal for New York State services. The phishing email directs users to a site collecting personal information under the false promise of a stimulus check. If you receive such an email, do not click any links or provide any personal information. Immediately delete the message and then clear it from your Deleted Messages folder.
