10/13/2020 Assessment Community Weekly

Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed your holiday weekend!

Help us improve the newsletter

There are times of the year when we have more announcements than we can keep up with. This is not one of those times.

The slow news time affords us the luxury to ask you what you’d like to see in this newsletter. What are we missing? What should we do more of? Is there anything we should do less of?

All suggestions and ideas welcome! As Albert Einstein put it:

If at first, the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it.

Don’t be shy! Send your ideas to geoffrey.gloak@tax.ny.gov.

And in the spirit of a slow news week…

We’d like to introduce a little bit of levity to your week, starting with a quiz:

How many counties are named after United States presidents or (and here’s where it gets tricky) vice-presidents?

Answers next Monday! No prizes, just pride.

New judicial case

We’ve added Matter of NFR Gateway, LLC v City of Niagara Falls to Judicial cases.
