Assessors with June 1 or later tentative roll dates: RPSV4 bulkfile option now available for the STAR Exemption Eligibility Report (report #1)

We recently announced that report #1 is now the STAR Exemption Eligibility Report, but as part of these changes the RPSV4 bulk upload function was no longer available.

The RPSV4 bulkfile option is now available for the STAR exemption eligibility report (report #1). This year it is available for municipalities with a June 1 or later tentative roll date. In 2027 it will be available statewide.

For guidance on updating your roll file, see:

Ethics recertification reminder

As the October 1, 2025 reappointment date was over half a year ago, if you have not completed your ethics course recently, you should plan to. Re-appointed and re-elected assessors and county directors must take approved ethics training no more than one year prior to or one year after reappointment or reelection to office. New assessors and new county directors must take an approved ethics course within a year of taking office.

For approved courses and more information, see our Ethics component webpage.
