Use the Upload Files tool to submit your roll to ORPTS
If you publish your tentative roll on May 1, use the Upload Files tool to transmit your roll file to ORPTS by May 10.
Do not submit your roll in PDF format. Upload a copy of your RPSv4 database or—if you do not use RPSv4—a 15-c file. For details on how to upload files, see the instructions.
Note: When using the Upload Files tool, we strongly encourage you to use Google Chrome.
Transition in the Southern Region
We are pleased to welcome Zaid Hasan as the new Manager of our Southern Region Office in White Plains. Zaid began his career with ORPTS in the Southern Region before joining our Regional Support Unit to perform complex appraisal work.
Zaid succeeds our longtime Southern Region Manager, John Wolham, who is transitioning to support the launch of RPS Online. John’s leadership and experience will be invaluable statewide as we prepare to implement RPS Online.
2025 final railroad ceilings
We’ve finalized the railroad ceilings for all 344 municipalities with property subject to the ceilings. We emailed or mailed the notice to all impacted municipalities and companies.
Reminder manufactured home and co-op spreadsheets due next Monday, May 5, except on Long Island
The deadline to submit manufactured home and co-op spreadsheets is May 5, except for municipalities in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, which have later assessment calendars. For details, see Send the manufactured home and co-op spreadsheets to the Tax Department.
Each manufactured home and coop spreadsheet below has two tabs, one of which must be completed manually. You must complete both tabs of the spreadsheets. If we do not receive complete data from you, your residents may not receive their STAR credits, or they can become significantly delayed.
We need complete inventory for every park and co-op annually. Your data must include all manufactured home lots (including vacant and rented manufactured homes) and co-op units, not just those you deem STAR relevant.
Important: You must complete the Status Changes 2025 (manual) tab. If you do not complete this worksheet, manufactured home park residents may not receive their STAR credits, or they can become significantly delayed.
