STAR income request letters hitting mailboxes this week
We are sending income request letters (RP-5300-WSC) to a small number of STAR exemption recipients across the state. While some of this income information may be collected after assessment rolls are finalized, any income reported will bring these taxpayers one year closer to meeting the new three-year reporting requirement. We will not ask you to make changes to your final assessment roll for income reported to us after you have finalized your roll. Recipients of this letter should follow the instructions on their letter to provide their income information using the Homeowner Benefit Portal or our online STAR Income Worksheet.
