Online Services will be down for improvements from 5 p.m. on December 4 until 10 a.m. on December 8.

During this timeframe, you will be unable to create, log in to, or complete any transactions in your Online Services account.

If you must file during this timeframe, you may file a paper form. If you must pay a bill, use our Quick Pay application, which does not require you to log in. If you received an income request letter (Form RP-5300-WSC), use our STAR Income Worksheet tool.

To learn about the upcoming improvements and stay up to date, see December 2025 changes to Online Services and subscribe to receive Online Services emails.

Final Reminder: Deadline approaching for May 1 tentative roll munis to update existing IVP entries

Last week, we prompted you to update the IVP Tool for the Enhanced STAR exemptions in your municipalities. For those with May 1 tentative roll dates, please adhere to these deadlines:

  • If you're transmitting the data to us for data entry, please do so by Wednesday, March 8. (For details see How to transmit IVP forms to the Tax Department.)
  • If you're entering the IVP data directly into the IVP Tool, complete your entries by Monday, March 13.

For more IVP Tool tips, see our February 21 newsletter.

Reminder: When properties sell

After a property sells, don’t forget to:

  • transmit the sale and any changes to ORPTS (see Sales usability criteria),
  • update your roll to reflect the sale inventory, and
  • update the IVP record to indicate the property was sold.
