Online Services will be down for improvements from 5 p.m. on December 4 until 10 a.m. on December 8.

During this timeframe, you will be unable to create, log in to, or complete any transactions in your Online Services account.
   
If you must file during this timeframe, you may file a paper form. If you must pay a bill, use our Quick Pay application, which does not require you to log in. If you received an income request letter (Form RP-5300-WSC), use our STAR Income Worksheet tool.

Less than three weeks to the spring equinox!

Provide us with copies of your STAR third-party notice forms by April 1

To accommodate seniors who have requested notification of a third party regarding the Enhanced STAR exemption, please provide us with copies of Form RP-425-TPN, Request for Mailing of Notice to a Third Party Regarding Enhanced STAR Exemption, that you have not previously provided to us.

You can provide the forms to us in any of the following ways:

  • Scan the RP-425-TPN forms and email them to IVPForms@tax.ny.gov 
  • Fax the forms to 518-457-0866.
  • Mail the forms to:

We’ll send any letters regarding the exemption status to the third parties.

Reminder: IVP deadlines approaching

In early April, we will issue the first round of STAR eligibility reports for municipalities with May 1 tentative roll dates. To ensure that we have complete data for your municipality, please follow these deadlines:

We also ask that you update the Enhanced STAR IVP Tool for any changes by this date. For details, see the 2/14/22 edition.

By complying with those deadlines, you will enable us to accurately include your information in the April STAR reports.
