This edition presents information for New York State Fiscal Year 2024-2025 (SFY 2024-2025) which began April 1, 2024 and ended March 31, 2025.

During SFY 2024-2025, the tax department collected $114.1 billion from state-imposed taxes and fees as follows:

personal income tax—$61.2 billion
state sales tax plus excise and user taxes—$21.1 billion
business taxes—$29.0 billion
property transfer taxes—$2.6 billion
other taxes and fees—$0.2 billion
