Online Services will be down for improvements from 5 p.m. on December 4 until 10 a.m. on December 8.

During this timeframe, you will be unable to create, log in to, or complete any transactions in your Online Services account.

If you must file during this timeframe, you may file a paper form. If you must pay a bill, use our Quick Pay application, which does not require you to log in. If you received an income request letter (Form RP-5300-WSC), use our STAR Income Worksheet tool.

To learn about the upcoming improvements and stay up to date, see December 2025 changes to Online Services and subscribe to receive Online Services emails.

Adobe Acrobat Reader - Requirements and Download Information

While the recommended web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox) have their own PDF viewers that allow you to view and print forms, instruction files, and other PDF files found throughout this site, fillable forms (especially those with 2D Barcodes) require Adobe Acrobat (Pro or Reader) in order for you to fill out and complete them successfully.

To obtain the latest version of the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, please visit the Adobe Web site.

To download PDF documents from this website:

  1. Right-click on the link to the document.
  2. Select “Save Target As” or “Save Link As.”
  3. Save the PDF to your hard drive. You may want to make a note of where you saved it; by default, it will be downloaded to the Downloads folder.
  4. Open Acrobat Reader.
  5. When Acrobat Reader is open, go to File, then to Open, then to where you saved the document. Double-click on the document to open it.

You may be able to open a downloaded PDF document in Acrobat by just double-clicking it after you download it to your desktop. If that doesn't work and you need to install a new  version of the free Acrobat Reader, you’ll need to uninstall any older version(s) before installing the new version of Acrobat Reader.
