Real Property Circuit Breaker Tax Credit - 2004 Credit Use by County

This statistical report provides information on households receiving real property tax circuit breaker credits as provided by Article 22, Section 606(e), of the New York State Tax Law. The report presents detailed information on circuit breaker credit use in each New York State county. Number of claims, total credits and average credit are displayed by filer age, type of residence and household income for the 2004 income tax year. In addition, the data tables include information on the number of claims filed without a personal income tax return. In effect, these stand-alone claims represent households with no New York State personal income tax liability receiving a cash payment attributable to the credit.
