Assessment Community Weekly 10/15/18
We look forward to meeting with the County Directors Association and RPTAC in Watkins Glen Wednesday!
This week we have several ICYMIs In Case You Missed Its and a new judicial case for you:
New RPS update released
2018 cost data now available
Contact your ORPTS Regional Liaison to get the 2018 update.
ORPTS training schedule
RPSV4 Data Anomaly Finder
Access the DAF, which includes 55 reports in one Excel workbook, from the Assessment Community Enterprise System (ACES) webpage. To smooth your future transition to ACES, we encourage you to begin using the tool to identify and correct data issues.
Send your IVP forms to us
Thank you to those of you who have begun sending us hundreds of IVP forms. For detailed transmittal instructions, see How to transmit IVP forms to the Tax Department.
Purge your STAR credit markers
After school tax bills have been processed, if you don’t remove the markers, the STAR Check literal may inappropriately display on the town and county tax roll and individual tax bills. To remove the markers, visit Real Property System and follow the instructions for the STAR_credit_purge.exe file.
ACES desktop and mobile requirements
To help you plan and budget for your conversion to the Assessment Community Enterprise System (ACES), we’re making a Tyler Technologies requirements document available on our ACES webpage. We encourage you to use this information for planning purposes. However, because technology for personal computers and mobile devices progresses rapidly, we don’t recommend purchasing new equipment or operating systems until you are closer to converting to ACES.
