The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance announced today that Samuel J. Ianacone, Jr. was arrested and charged with Repeated Failure to File Personal Income Tax Returns and Criminal Tax Fraud in the Fourth and Fifth Degree.
Ianacone, 65, of 51 Stoneleigh Court, Pittsford, NY, is scheduled for arraignment on Thursday, April 19, 2012, in Pittsford Town Court.
An investigation conducted by the NYS Tax Department found that Ianacone, an attorney who practices in the area of federal and state tax law, failed to file personal income tax returns for years 2008 through 2010. The case originated in the Rochester Criminal Investigations Division. The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
